SPORT AND PERFORMANCE NUTRITION
As an Accredited Practicing Dietitian and an Accredited Sports Dietitian I possess the desire to enhance performance through nutrition for life and sport.
I use a wide range of techniques to apply nutrition to optimise your health, manage chronic disease and support a positive relationship with food. My approach includes intuitive eating styles and mindful eating approaches to help with food awareness and to reduce emotional or stress eating habits.
My personal experience in sport has led me to understand the specific approach sport nutrition has to ensure the everyday athlete or those competing reach their potential and optimal performance. I have worked with a range of sports including: Judo QLD, Hockey QLD, competitive Tennis, AFL and UQ Football Club. I also have provided performance nutrition to triathletes, long distance runners, and a variety of fitness interests. As a Level 1 Anthropometrist I have further qualifications to measure body composition in the form of skinfold measures to the international standard.
